Google To Hold Webcast On Chrome OS For Investors Today

November 19, 2009

It had to happen. For all the years it took the *nix community with its gazillion distros to manage a 2–3% user adoption, this might finally be the momentum they’re looking for. It is only so far a company like Canonical can take Ubuntu and Linux with it but unless it’s someone of the likes of Google, no one really cares. Of course by that definition, BSD should’ve been the second most popular OS between OS X & Windows. Anyoo… Google is having a webcast for investors on their Chrome OS, since it is for investors, I am assuming that there will be some dates and interesting statistics that’ll be mentioned. A look at the OS? Well, time will tell.

The webcast starts at 10:00 AM PST, Thursday November 19, 2009, which is about 2 and a half hours from now. You can watch the webcast in Windows Media Player (ironic huh?) or in Real Media (lol!).
