Windows 7 Logo Unveiled With 7000 Dominoes Cascading At Microsoft India, Hyderabad

October 25, 2009

While I was cribbing about the lack of publicity and promotional events for the general public, the engineers and folks at Microsoft’s Hyderabad center were apparently having a lot of cool fun for the launch. Here is a video where the Windows logo was unveiled using dominos:

Video courtesy Ankur Sadhoo’s Facebook profile.

From the description:

A group of around 22 passionate employees from across Microsoft’s Hyderabad campus designed and executed the amazing feat of unveiling the Windows 7 logo using 7000 domino(es)

Damn neat!

UPDATE:

Came across another video where someone has created one of the bundled Windows 7 wallpapers in Rangoli (colored sand art)

tipped by @mswindows. Another cool vid I say :)
