Live Users Generate Millions For Charity

December 19, 2008

I came across a thread on a forum about the initiative by Microsoft and visited the homepage to check as to how much has been generated so far. I was amazed to see that by users like you and me sending emails & chat messages, $1,913,519 has been generated since March of 2007. AWESOME!

For those who aren’t aware of what the i'm logo initiative is, in simplest terms you participate in the program & choose your charitable organization, add the necessary code in your Hotmail signature & Messenger name and you’re good to go. For every email & chat message that you send, Microsoft will donate money from it’s advertisement revenues.

For more details on how to be a part of this, you can read this post of mine. After Live Wave 3 coming out, using Live has become a lot more fun and I’d suggest you guys give it a try and help generating more funds.
